Entrepreneurship Vs. Fear: Making The Decision To Go All-In

Making the decision to go all-in on entrepreneurship is the single biggest thing that people struggle with when they start having thoughts of working for themselves. After all, there is risk involved with going into business and some people aren’t big fans of risk. That to me is too bad, because there sure are a lot of people out there who could of and still can become extremely successful entrepreneurs if they are just willing to take the risk.

Entrepreneurship Vs. Fear: Making The Decision To Go All-In

Fear is extremely powerful. It’s so powerful, in fact, that it can, by itself, completely deter a person from making the decision to pursue entrepreneurship. Isn’t that crazy? Fear of the unknown. Fear of whether it’s going to work. Feat of this and fear of that. Fear has a hold of a lot of people. Is it holding on to you too? I hope not, because it’s a shame the amount of people that remain in their comfort zone and settle for mediocrity. They are scared to take any chances so it prevents them from ever achieving anything extraordinary in their lives. After all, the magic truly begins to happen the minute you setup outside your comfort zone.

At some point, if you truly want to find great success, you must make a choice. You must make a commitment. You must make a decision to go all-in. Well, you don’t have to make that decision, but do not plan on achieving anything great in your life. Sometimes I feel bad being so blunt and I am certainly far from perfect, but bottom line is those who achieve the most in life are not afraid to take the risk and completely commit themselves to a vision or goal. You must take the risk to get the reward! And often times, the bigger the risk, the better the reward! That’s why entrepreneurship is not for the weak. You must be strong and courageous.

Entrepreneurship Vs. Fear

Personally, for a long time, I teetered on the line between wanting to go all-in and actually going all-in. It wasn’t until I made the decision to immerse myself in the craft of entrepreneurship that things finally started to come together. I always had aspirations of making that entire commitment, but actions speak louder than words. However, when I did finally dive in with both feet, not just one, sparks began to fly. One opportunity led to the next. I started enjoying what I was doing. I began to stop worrying about if I could fail at this and started worrying about how I would succeed. Funny how that works out.

Fear can be crippling to many. I’ve watched it steal away too many people’s dreams and it’s sad. With all that said, I just ask you for one thing. Go for it. We only have one life to live and settling for something short of what you truly desire with your life shouldn’t be an option. Fear is the big bully that wants to push you back, but it’s time to throw a punch. Making the decision to put fear aside and go all-in on entrepreneurship or whatever it is you seek in your life will surely result in things that can only be described as life changing.

Take a risk. Stop allowing fear to control your life. Go all-in and never look back.

Then watch the magic happen.
