Do you have big dreams? Do you have lofty goals? Do you think they may be set unrealistically high? THEY’RE NOT! No matter how high you set the bar, you can accomplish anything you set out to achieve if you truly dedicate your life to doing so. Yes, your life! Big dreams=Big Dedication! Now, make sure you look up the definition of dedication so you truly understand what it means. But I will just be honest with you right off the bat. It’s going to be a long and hard journey, but it will be the most satisfying journey of your entire life when it’s all said and done.
Dreams > Settling: STOP WAITING!
If your goals include a suitcase of money and the freedom to spend endless amounts of quality time with your family, then I suggest you immediately stop waiting around and get to work. Big dreams oftentimes can take years or decades to achieve and if you continue to let the days pass you by, you’re falling further away from making those dreams a reality. No more waiting around, get to work starting today!
Start by making a list of exactly what it is that you want to achieve. I’m sure you have thought to yourself about what it is you want out of life, but actually, jot it down on paper. Even consider constructing a vision board. I did this several years ago and it has helped me tremendously in my journey to success by offering up a visual reminder on daily basis of what it is I want to achieve with my life. These goals and this vision board can help you stay focused on the days in which you “just aren’t feeling it.” On those days you can pull out your goal sheet that talks about spending more time with your family or glance at your vision board in your office which has pictures of the dream house you have aspirations of living in. These types of things are sure to light a fire under you on those days you may be lacking energy or motivation. After all, if you have huge goals then it’s important that not a single day go to waste! You will need every last day to achieve your big dreams.
Now that you have a clear perspective of what it is you want to achieve, it’s time to put the wheels in motion on making your dreams come true. This boils down to one word… Action. It’s time to take action on your goals. This means getting down to business and working extremely hard. Ultra successful people of the world did not get there by failing to take action; in fact, they are the ultimate action takers. When they wanted something, they went and they got it. The naysayers certainly didn’t hold them back and neither did the days they were tired. Action-takers are the people who accomplish their dreams because they walk the walk. Unfortunately, far too many people have big dreams but the one thing they neglect to do is take action. How can you possibly achieve your dreams if you don’t bother to take action in reaching them? You can’t. These dreams aren’t going to fall out of the sky and into your lap, life doesn’t work that way, unfortunately. Sure, that would be nice to have dreams naturally come to you, however, working hard for your goals and watching them manifest before your eyes is a feeling I would never want to miss out on. The feeling of genuine accomplishment is an incredible feeling and something in which only the action-takers get to experience.

Now that you know what you want and you’re taking action to get there, what’s next? I’ll tell you what’s next and that is the ability to overcome obstacles. Did you think the road to success was paved with fairies and pixie dust? Sorry, it’s not. It’s an extremely difficult road. However, you must persevere! You must never give up! All paths to success are laced with booby traps and grenades of distraction, but perseverance is an extremely powerful antidote to any obstacle. Nothing can stop you if you have the guts to lead any hurdle between you and success, no matter how tall. Don’t live your life being tormented by the obstacles that erupt on your journey to success, instead, have no fear, grab the bull by the horns, and ride that wild bull straight down the road to success.
You know what you want, you’re taking action to get there, and nothing is going to stop you. So, what’s next? Success is next. Now, I want to make this abundantly clear, success is a long journey and while it’s been summed up in this short article, the success road is one that will take an extreme level of commitment. Are you willing to make that commitment? Do you truly commit to being successful? If you do, I could at this point wish you good luck, but the thing is, you won’t need it. If you’re truly committed to becoming successful, then it’s an inevitability that you will reach your goals and you don’t need luck. Success is now your destiny and it’s no longer a question of if, but a question of when. The clock is officially ticking and it won’t be long before your clock strikes success.
